Peaks & Harmony Retreat Policy Agreement

Welcome to Peaks & Harmony! We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and transformative experience for all. Please read the following policies carefully before reserving your spot at one of our holistic health and wellness retreats:

This retreat is not mental health therapy. If you are in the midst of a crisis or emotional upheaval, this retreat may not be a good fit at this time. If you are experiencing such issues it is recommended that you consult with your therapist or medical professional prior to registration. 

Reservation & Payment Policies

We offer multiple deposit options to help secure your reservation. Details will be provided at the time of booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future retreat if cancellation meets the criteria below.

Full Payment:
  • The retreat reservation must be paid in full no later than 30 days before your scheduled arrival.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the retreat start date may transfer their deposit to a future retreat within one year.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat start date will NOT be eligible for deposit or payment refunds.

Weather and Natural Disaster Policy

The safety and well-being of our guests are our top priorities. In the event of severe weather or a natural disaster that makes it unsafe to travel or host the retreat, the following policy applies:

  1. Rescheduling:

    • If the retreat must be postponed due to weather or natural disasters, all bookings will be transferred to a rescheduled date. Guests will be notified as soon as possible with the new dates.
  2. No Refunds:

    • Please note that all payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled dates, a credit will be issued, which can be applied toward future retreats or services.

Inclusivity and Respect

  • Affiliation: Peaks & Harmony is not affiliated with any religion, organization, or specific group. We respect and welcome all walks of life.
  • Behavior Expectations: Hate speech, bullying, or any behavior that disrupts the safe and inclusive environment will result in immediate eviction from the retreat without a refund.

Healing Practices Disclosure

At Peaks & Harmony, our mission is to support your healing and personal growth through a holistic approach. Our retreats may incorporate spiritual, ancient, and protected healing practices and modalities to assist in the elevation of your journey. These practices are rooted in respect for cultural traditions, sacred teachings, and spiritual wisdom.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • These healing practices are designed to facilitate self-discovery, emotional balance, and personal empowerment.
  • Your participation in these modalities is entirely voluntary and intended to complement your overall wellness journey.
  • You are encouraged to approach these practices with an open heart and mind while honoring your own beliefs and boundaries.

Our goal is to create a safe space where you can experience profound healing and growth. If you have any questions or concerns about these practices, we are happy to provide further information prior to your retreat.

Service Animals Only

  • Pets are not permitted at retreats. Service animals as defined by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) are welcome.
  • Emotional support animals do NOT qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Health and Wellness

  1. Please do not attend a retreat if you are feeling ill or are injured. Contact us to discuss rescheduling arrangements.
  2. Certain retreats at Peaks & Harmony may involve intense emotional healing sessions and/or physical activities. For your safety and well-being, it is not advised to attend if you currently have any of the following health conditions

    • Severe mental health challenges requiring immediate or ongoing crisis intervention (e.g., active suicidal ideas, untreated severe PTSD, or schizophrenia).
    • Heart conditions or cardiovascular issues that may be triggered by physical activity or emotional stress.
    • Respiratory disorders that may impede your ability to participate in physical activities or handle altitude (if the retreat is located in a high-altitude region).
    • Recent major surgeries or injuries that limit mobility or require significant recovery time.
    • Pregnancy beyond the first trimester, as some activities may not be suitable.
    • Severe autoimmune disorders or other chronic conditions that are currently un-managed or unstable.

If you are unsure whether you are fit to attend, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking.

Your safety is our priority, and we want your experience at Peaks & Harmony to be positive and healing. If you have any health concerns, please reach out to discuss options or accommodations that may be available.

By reserving your spot, you acknowledge your physical and emotional readiness to participate in retreat activities.

    Transportation

    • Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from Peaks & Harmony Retreats.
    • Peaks & Harmony, including Heather Peaks, cannot be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents incurred during travel.

    What Not to Bring

    Peaks & Harmony prohibits the use of alcohol, tobacco and tobacco products, and all recreational drugs. Usage will result in eviction without a refund. 

    Out of respect for those with chemical sensitivities and because the retreat experience involves being in close quarters with others, we expect guests to refrain from using personal scented products such as perfume, cologne, or strongly scented toiletries. 

    Guests should not plan to use cell phones, computers, or electronic communications devices. Unplugging is part of the experience.

    Release of Liability

    As consideration for being permitted by Peaks & Harmony to participate in these activities, I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue or attach Peaks & Harmony, Heather Peaks or its affiliates, employees, agents or volunteers or any of its affiliated organizations for injury or damage resulting from acts, howsoever caused, by any employee, agent, or contractor of Peaks & Harmony or any of its affiliated organizations as a result of my participation in this retreat, except when an employee, affiliate, or agent of Peaks & Harmony exhibits gross and intentional negligence or acts in a manner which is likely to lead to my harm. 

     I hereby release Peaks & Harmony (Heather Peaks) and any of its affiliates from all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assigns, heirs, distributees, guardians and legal representatives, now or hereafter, from any claims of injury or damage resulting from my participation in this event.

    By reserving your spot at a Peaks & Harmony retreat, you agree to these policies and acknowledge your understanding of the terms outlined above.
